WALLEYE FISHING TRIPS ON THE MISSOURI RIVER Lake Francis Case at Platte, South Dakota offers some of the best Walleye Fishing potential and the most beautiful scenery on the entire Missouri River System. With many Walleyes in the 2-3 lb class with an opportunity for a 6-10 lb trophy. Our day will start @ 8:00 am and go until 4:00 pm. We will launch from one of our local access ramps, Snake Creek or Platte Creek. Our time on the water will be enjoyed aboard a large, quality, fully rigged Ranger or Lund Boat loaded with all the gear you could possibly need, along with bait and a full tank of fuel for the day. Fishing Techniques will vary depending on the time of the year. We will do everything from jigging points to casting into the shallows to pulling deep crankbaits on lead core line. |

FISHING SEASON Our fishing season is always open here in South Dakota allowing you to experience some of the best fishing the country has to offer. Beginning as soon as the ice breaks and we can get a boat in the water. We can head out with our light jigging equipment and search out those big cold water Walleyes lying on the deep mainlake points. This is an awesome trip and not for the faint hearted because it will be chilly, but the fishing can be very hot. This pattern will run for a couple weeks until the water begins to warm and we change tactics to casting for the shallow fish. This is also an awesome time and trip to experience. As the water warms the fish will move deeper and we'll follow them with deep crankbaits and jigs. Once again providing opportunity for some excellent fishing! |
